Meet the Brewing Team behind Jeggers

Simon Jeggo- Head Brewer & Co- Founder

Jeggers is brewed by Simon and Natasha Jeggo, founders of Stump Rat Brewing Co ltd, based in Norfolk. Stump Rat produces the full Jeggers range, bringing together decades of techinal oxpertise, brewing knowledge and a shared passion for creating exceptional beer.

Simon is a former British Army mechanical engineer who trained as a brewer in the Republic of Ireland after leaving the forces. He later went to university as a mature student and is now a Chartered Geoscientist, specialising in water quality. Those experiences come together in his brewing, combining technical precision with the influence of time spent in Ireland, where balance, drinkability, and a thoughtful approach continue to shape how he works in the brewhouse today.

Natasha Jeggo- Operations & Sales

Natasha’s background in midwifery brings a calm, people-first approach to Stump Rat, alongside the drive and energy behind taking the brewery out into the world. She is most often found out on the road, at the bar, or checking in to see how things are going, building the relationships that sit at the heart of the brewery.

Married for over 20 years, Simon and Natasha have spent much of that time travelling,  seeking out great beer, good food, and the places that do both well. Those experiences continue to influence everything they brew, including the beers created for Jeggers.

 Operating from their modern brewery in Norfolk, Simon and Natasha brew a range of ales, lagers and stouts, including the full Jeggers range.

Their approach is simple: brew with intent, focus on what matters, and create beers full of character, drinkability, and personality.

Steve Langford - Co Founder & Strategic Advisor

Steve is an entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in building and growing successful businesses.

As an investor in Jeggers, he provides strategic guidance and commercial support, helping the business navigate its growth journey while remaining focused on delivering great beer and building a sustainable brand.

Julie Langford – Finance 

Julie has over 30 years' experience in finance leadership roles across a wide range of industries. Having held senior executive positions throughout her career, she brings extensive expertise in financial management, governance, strategy and business growth.

Julie oversees the financial operations of Jeggers, helping to ensure the business is built on strong foundations while supporting its long-term ambitions for growth.

Richard Clark – Sales & Marketing 

Richard is the commercial and marketing force behind Jeggers. With extensive experience launching and growing major drinks brands including Smashed Cider, Whitley Neill Gin, Crabbie's Alcoholic Ginger Beer and Pepsi, he brings a proven track record of building brands that consumers love.

From shaping the Jeggers brand to driving sales growth and developing retail partnerships, Richard's expertise and energy play a key role in bringing Jeggers to market and building awareness across the UK.
